I have always been interested in woodwork and in 2002 I built a workshop at my home in Staffordshire
In 2003 I attended a woodworking show in Leamington Spa. My late father bought me my first woodturning lathe which was a Teknatool Nova DVR 3000. Then, as a hobby I began turning pens for friends and family. My workshop now consists of 3 lathes : Nova DVR 3000, a Jet 10-15 Mini lathe and a Jet 10-14 Mini Lathe. I work with various materials to turn the pens including Wood, Dymondwood, Acrylic, M3 Macro-Moleculer Material and Tru-stone, I also cast my own Carbon Fibre Pen Blanks which I turn for the Sierra Vista Pens I am also a Member of the International Association of Penturners
