Carbon Fibre Pens are made by wrapping either Carbon Fibre or Carbon Fibre and Fibreglass sleeving around a brass tube then cast in a Resin and put in a pressure pot and pressurised to stop air bubbles from forming. When the Resin as set normal in a few days the Pen Blank is trimmed up and put on the Woodturning Lathe and turned to the desired shape and then sanded to the final shape using sixteen grades from 180 grit to 12000 grit sandpaper then polished using a special polish.
